Rodgers First In Country Music Trail

Two big events for country music lovers are happening in Meridian Tuesday. Both involve Philadelphia native Marty Stuart.

Stuart will be on hand at 11 a.m at the grave site of Jimmie Rodgers, at Oak Grove cemetery, as "The Father of Country Music" is given the first plaque on Mississippi's new Country Music Trail.

Later in the morning, Stuart will announce the coming opening of his biographical Sparkles and Twang exhibit at the MSU Riley Center later this summer.
