Ted Lange Directs Fred Willard and Jim J. Bullock in New Musical Moon Shine! in California

Fred Willard ("A Mighty Wind") and Jim J. Bullock ("Too Close for Comfort") star in a new musical comedy, Moon Shine! under the direction of Ted Lange ("The Love Boat") at California's Theatre At the Grove, starting May 1.The new work is slated to run at the Upland, California venue through May 23.

Moon Shine! features music and lyrics by country songwriter Marty Stuart with book and lyrics by Mary Willard — wife of the show's star. The story follows the sudden upheaval of the lives of three wealthy Texas heirs who must find culture and women to marry in order to inherit their late father's fortune.

The cast also features Erin Johnson, Tom Schmid, Joel McCrary, Ginger Kinison, Vil Towers, Richard Horvitz, Judy Nazemez, Howard Wilson, Jason Prince, Robert Kitson and Jean Carol with Julie Redmond, Courtney Bruce, Ruben Bravo, Mark Porter, Stephanie Wood.

Director Lange is known for his portrayal as the Bartender Isaac on the television show "The Love Boat." Actor Willard has appeared in the comedies "Waiting for Guffman," "Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind," and "American Wedding." Bullock has appeared on TV in "Too Close For Comfort," "ALF," "Queer Duck," "The Jim J. and Tammy Faye Show" and in the movies "Spaceballs" and "Kissing Jessica Stein."

Brian O'Halloran serves as musical director and Terry Barto provides choreography. The At The Grove Production is produced by Sherry Kinison.
