Eddie Stubbs started the show by introducing the guests. "From Nashville, Tennessee, the country music capital of the world and home of the air castle of the south, it's time for The Marty Stuart Show, featuring Marty Stuart, the Rolls Royce of country singers Miss Connie Smith, the ole Tennessee Slicker Leroy Troy, along with all the Fabulous Superlatives: Cousin Kenny Vaughan, Handsome Harry Stinson, the Apostle Paul Martin, plus Gary Carter on the steel guitar. And today's special guest Hank III with Zach Shedd, Andy Gibson, and David McElfresh. Join us now for 30 minutes of fun and great country music. I'm Eddie Stubbs. Now how 'bout a Superlative welcome for our host, a man who has played and sang in every county in Mississippi and is here to play and sing for you right now, here is Marty Stuart." Marty said, "Yeah." Marty and His Fabulous Superlatives performed "Honky Tonkin's What I Do Best."

Marty said, "Tell the truth about it. Send that to my brother Travis Tritt. Yes I will. Welcome to The Marty Stuart Show. Superlatives .... we got honky tonkin' on our mind today, yes we do and we got just the man that can help you take care of it. That one brought it right down the line, Handsome Harry. Yes it did. How 'bout a hand for my man Hank III, ladies and gentlemen. Come on, Hank. Yes sir." Hank III said, "Hello." Marty said, "Welcome boys." Hank III said, "All right." Marty said, "All right, brother Hank. Whatcha got in mind." Hank III said, "Pay a little bit of respect to ole Hiram "Hank" Williams today." Marty said, "Yes sir." Hank III said, "So here we go." Hank III performed "My Sweet Love Ain't Around."

Marty said, "All right, all right. That's good boy. Fine job sir. Fine job gentlemen." Eddie Stubbs said, "Great job there from Hank III with a tip of the hat to the 1947 original. 'My Sweet Love Ain't Around'." Eddie promoted the two DVD set of highlights from the first season of The Marty Stuart Show. After a commercial break, Marty said, "Welcome back to The Marty Stuart Show, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Marty Stuart and if you're just joinin' us, we got country music on our minds. Glad you're with us. Hey Superlatives, look over there on that hay bale. Hank and the boys. Doin' fine. Fine sir, fine sir. Speakin' of fine, the very finest is about to come through that red door. How 'bout a hand for the great Connie Smith, ladies and gentlemen. Come here baby. 'Back In Baby's Arms'."

Marty said, "Connie Smith along with all the Superlatives and Gary Carter. Hey Hank. Ya got a second? How 'bout a hand for Hank II, ladies and gentlemen." Marty motions for Hank III to come over. Marty continues, "Yes sir. Welcome my boy." Hank III said, "Hey Marty." Marty continued, "Appreciate it. Come on in. Can't thank you enough for comin' by." Hank III said, "Well, it's always a good time." Marty said, "You betcha. Ain't everybody can get up and pull out 'so I'm gonna do one of my grandpa's songs' and sing a Hank Williams song. That's pretty good." Hank III said, "We don't get to do that much so it's a ..... well we're doin' it the right way today." Marty said, "You sure are." Hank III said, "You got to let me borrow one of grandad's suits and ..." Marty said, "You fill it out real good." Hank III continued, "I've never had one on before." Marty said, "You got his tie on, too." Hank III said, "That's right, man." Marty said, "I wish I could have known him. I felt like I did through his songs like everybody else but I tell you one thing I believe with all my heart, he'd be mighty proud of you. You do things your way." Hank III said, "Thank you." Marty said, "You do things your way." Hank III said, " All right." Marty said, "Let's do a song." Hank III said, "Sounds good." Marty said, "A song, probably one of my favorite Hank songs. "Picture From Life's Other Side', what do ya say." Hank III said, "All right, man."

Eddie said, "Great job there. Hank III and Marty Stuart and 'Pictures From Life's Other Side'. Hank III wearin' his grandfather's suit and tie and Marty Stuart playin' Hank William, Sr's D-45 Martin guitar. What a combination." Eddie promoted Marty's book of photographs, Country Music: The Masters. After a commercial break, Marty said, "Welcome back everybody. Hey, I tell ya what, Hank. This show is sponsored by my home state, Mississippi and we like to profile some of our good friends down there. Are you a barbecue man?" Hank III said, "Aww you know it, Marty." Marty said, "Well, all right. Me, too. We need to send a big ole howdy to all of our friends at the Pig Pen in Cleveland, Mississippi. Been said that the Pig Pen only serves divine swine." Hank III said, "Look out." Marty continued, "What about it now. The next time we're down there we'll go down there. Whataya think." Hank III said, "That sounds good to me." Marty said, "Speakin' of divine, here he comes, ladies and gentlemen. Hank, he's the Sultan of Goodlettsville, the most popular man in country music. The ole Tennessee Slicker. How 'bout a hand for our friend Leroy Troy. Come on, Leroy. Hey, there he is. Hello buddy boy. You know Hank and the boys. Welcome Goodlettsville. Well, we gotcha a world-class hillbilly orchestra today."

Leroy: "Sure 'nuf, we got it."

Marty: "Whatcha got on your mind to put in the middle of it."

Leroy: "Well, I tell you what."

Marty: "What."

Leroy: "Well, I tell you what. Hank here is sick."

Marty: "Sick."

Leroy: "I'm sick and we're all sick."

Marty: "Yeah"

Leroy: "Got a bad fever and it's called Hillbilly."

Marty: "That's what it is."

Leroy: "In C."

Marty: "Start it off boys."

Leroy and "Hillbilly Fever" with Hank III, Connie and Marty joining in.

Marty said, "That's all right there. Yeah. Do you feel better now? Yes." Eddie Stubbs said, "Great job there from Leroy Troy and all the gang and 'Hillbilly Fever'. He got that when it first came out and we're told his temperature is still on the rise. It's hymn time this week and we're gonna get the Fabulous Superlatives to gang around and do one they've had on the show before and we've had some requests for them to do it again. They're here to do it for you right now. 'Paul and Silas'."

After a commercial break, Eddie Stubbs promoted the Superlatone Store. Eddie said, "And right now, here's our head souvenir, Marty Stuart." Marty said, "Thank you, Mr. Stubbs. Hank, thank you for comin' by brother and bringin' the guys. You guys, appreciate it very much. Thank you for everything you're doin' out there." Hank III said, "All right man. You got it." Marty said, "Take us home, brother." Hank III said, "Okay. 'Howlin' At The Moon'."

Marty said, "Hit it, Cous. 'Howlin' At The Moon'. Come here, young'un.
