| Marty Stuart won't trade his tight jeans for tights and a cape when he appears in a new Marvel comic. Marty Party in Space will feature the country singer--wearing his trademark jeans and wild cowboy boots--trying to hold onto a ring that gives him magical, musical powers.
Who would try to take Marty's ring? Hillbilly aliens, of course. Marty's sidekick is a bloodhound named Oscar Lee. Marty, whose current single is If I Ain't Got You, thought up the story line and turned it over to Marvel.
The Nashville veteran toured with Lester Flatt and the Nashville Grass in the '70s, Johnny Cash in the '80s, and has thrived as a solo artist for a decade.
