Marty Stuart will exhibit his photographs at the Nashville International Airport as part of a newly announced partnership between the airport and the Tennessee State Museum, which featured an exhibit drawn from Stuart?s personal collection in 2007.

Set to open on June 2, 2008, Marty Stuart's American Odyssey will include images of Lakota Native Americans, country music stars and rockabilly performers.

Though best known as a country music singer and a keeper of the traditionalist flame, Stuart has built a sizable body of photographic works over the years, some of which were collected in the book Pilgrims: Sinners, Saints, and Prophets. He's been taking pictures ever since he was a teenage musician in the band of bluegrass legend Lester Flatt.

Next month will also provide an opportunity to see Stuart onstage as he presents his annual Late Night Jam at the Ryman Auditorium, set for 10 p.m. June 4, 2008. Announced performers include Stuart and his band the Fabulous Superlatives, his wife Connie Smith, The Charlie Daniels Band, John Rich & Friends, Gretchen Wilson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Kathy Mattea, emcee Eddie Stubbs and others.
