Marty Stuart? He’s as much a fan of country music as
we are. The only difference is he’s had a stage pass to witness the beautiful pageant for most of his career. Oh, and he also puts on great shows like his annual throw-down, The Late Night Jam at the Ryman Auditorium. Marty will play with one of the most wonderful backing bands around, the Fabulous Superlatives (if they say so themselves), for a show that’s billed as a “hillbilly-homecoming rave-up.” We’re not exactly sure what a hillbilly rave would really look like, but trust that Marty’s got that part figured out. The show, which benefits MusiCares, is set for June 5. We’ll know a bit more about any special guests closer to the date. More importantly, tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, February 22 at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Ryman Box Office and www.ryman.com. By
