Marty Stuart: A Man Of Many Talents

This appeared in The Tennessean - January 30, 2004

If Marty Stuart never played a note of music, he'd still be valuable to our town as a historian, a collector of country music archives and a true fan of those who blazed the trails in Music City. The thing is, he manages all of that and a career as one of Nashville's most consistently rewarding recording artists.

This weekend he'll be on the Grand Ole Opry, sharing the Ryman Auditorium stage with legends and upstarts and performing a song or two from his excellent, aptly titled album Country Music.
