Nashville-based RFD-TV will sponsor a float in today's 120th Rose Parade, held in Pasadena, Calif.

The 85-foot-long float's focus will be Hee Haw, the long-running TV series that is now shown on RFD-TV. The float, which features a 25-foot-tall windmill with spinning blades and a rustic barn, also will honor the American farmer and rancher and include agricultural commodities from all 50 states.

Six of the nearly three dozen roses of country music from the Nashville Music Garden (located at Fourth Avenue and Demonbreun Street) will be featured, including those named after Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Little Jimmy Dickens, Amy Grant and Minnie Pearl and the Grand Ole Opry.

The network will broadcast the 10 a.m. parade live from start to finish with commentary by Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase. In Middle Tennessee, you can find RFD-TV on Comcast channel 136, Charter channel 147, Dish channel 231 and DirecTV channel 379.
