Country-rocker and art collector Marty Stuart and bluegrass pioneer Earl Scruggs will team up for a benefit concert May 10 to launch the art exhibit "Thomas B. Allen: The Journey of an American Illustrator." The exhibit will be displayed in Nashville's Ryman Auditorium throughout May. Allen is an author and a frequent contributor to National Geographic. Stuart and Scruggs earned a Grammy nomination in the Best Country Instrumental category for their collaborative reworking of "Mr. John Henry, Steel Driving Man," from Stuart's critically acclaimed album The Pilgrim. Stuart also garnered a solo nomination for his Pilgrim cut "The Greatest Love of All Time (Reprise)." By Lauren Schmitzer |
