Marty Stuart Announces Ghost Train Tour

Official Press Release - August 18, 2010

Marty Stuart announces a fall tour in support of his upcoming album, Ghost Train (The Studio B Sessions). Stuart’s 14th studio album, will be released August 24, 2010 on Sugar Hill Records, with the tour kicking off on August 25th at Nashville’s Belcourt Theatre.

“The album was recorded in a historic setting, and kicking off this tour at the Belcourt, one of the original homes of the Opry…well I just can’t imagine a more fitting venue,” says Stuart.

The album is already receiving high praise as No Depression remarks that it “should be required listening for every young musician,” while The 9513 calls it “pure, unadulterated country” and says Stuart is “one of country music’s great ambassadors.”

Country music’s renaissance man steadily continues to lead the charge in preserving the roots, culture and history of traditional country music. His acclaimed memorabilia collection is currently on tour around the country and his TV show is the highest rated program on RFD-TV.
