Just Among Friends

Beginning a New Year, I wish everyone were as confident and happy with their choice on the path of life as Marty Stuart. I quote from a remark I heard him make on his "Marty Stuart Show," shown on Channel 14 each Saturday evening at 7 p.m.

"I am at the right place, at the right time, doing what I was divinely intended to do with my life."

As evidence that success often follows a happy man doing what he loves best, Marty has received two Grammy Award nominations with his new traditional country album, Ghost Train (the Studio B Sessions). Marty's duet with his wife and country music great, Connie Smith, is nominated for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals and "Hummingbyrd," his tribute to guitarist Clarence White, is nominated for Best Country Instrumental.

We are so proud of Marty Stuart from Route 8, Philadelphia, Mississippi, the son of John and Hilda Stuart, brother to Jennifer, and husband to Connie!
