| Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey and Marty? Yes, and Tony, Natalie and Engelbert, too. Marty Stuart is going to be one of the featured performers at the Friends Helping Friends charity concert Monday, along with Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole and Engelbert Humperdinck. And get this--the show is being staged in honor of the cast of NBC's Friends!
But don't worry--the highly paid, tragically hip 20-somethings won't be getting the money, just the acclaim. Proceeds from the show benefit the Lookinglass Theater, the Archer School for Girls and the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
Next week's a big one for Stuart. In addition to Monday night's concert, he's got play practice on Tuesday. Stuart wrote the music and lyrics for Mary Willard's new musical comedy, Moon Shine, and he's helping oversee the cast's musical read-through.
And, of course, he'll be rushing back here on Wednesday--something about some awards show?
