Speaking of Marty Stuart, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce surprised him Friday with a special award for all he's done to promote the city. Stuart emceed the jam-packed annual chamber membership meeting at the Wildhorse Saloon, one of the most popular chamber events to date.
Stuart has been a true ambassador for the City, giving his time and talents to many chamber-related activities. Usually in these circumstances, the chamber presents a gold record as the award. "But Marty Stuart's got plenty of those," chamber spokeswoman Sharon Limpus says. "We're coming up with something else."
