Hope your fingers are warmed up for the Ricky Skaggs and Marty Stuart concert Monday at Oneida Casino in Green Bay. An evening of pickin’ and grinnin’ is sure to be on tap with Skaggs and his band, Kentucky Thunder, and Stuart and his backing group, His Fabulous Superlatives.

Skaggs has been playing professionally for nearly 40 years, and during that time has inherited the title of ambassador of bluegrass from the legendary Bill Monroe. Whenever he releases an album on his own Skaggs Family Records label, it’s pretty much a guaranteed Grammy nominee. His albums have earned eight straight Grammy nominations.

Stuart has won four Grammy awards and has collaborated with many roots artists during his career, including Bob Dylan. He’s also had one platinum and five gold albums.
