Marty Stuart will celebrate 10 years of his annual Late Night Jam on June 8 beginning at 10:00 p.m. at Nashvilles historic Ryman Auditorium. Stuart started the CMA sponsored event as a way to welcome fans to country musics biggest week, and over the past 10 years it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for MusiCares and has become the kick off event for CMA Music Fest. The Late Night Jam has evolved into the centerpiece concert event for me on my yearly calendar, said Stuart. Martys dedication and support of MusiCares through the Late Night Jam over the past ten years is unprecedented, said Debbie Carroll, executive director of MusiCares. His generosity has served as a catalyst to providing aid and support to so many music people in need. We cant thank Marty enough for his unrelenting care and concern for his fellow musicians. Over the past 10 years, artists such as Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels, Porter Wagoner, Neko Case, Old Crow Medicine Show, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more surprise guests have joined Marty and his Fabulous Superlatives for a marathon of live music. The 2011 line up will be announced in the coming weeks. Up next for Stuart is the 53rd Annual Grammy® Awards, live on CBS this Sunday, February 13, where he is currently nominated for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals and Best Country Instrumental. |
