Long-time Sony Music Entertainment employee Tracy Graham McGlocklin has created a new artist management and marketing consulting firm

McGlocklin will serve as owner and president of the company, Mission Management.

“It’s been a longtime goal to apply my record label experience in marketing and sales in an artist management setting,” McGlocklin said. “It’s a challenging, yet exciting time in the music business and I look forward to helping artists realize their dream.”

McGlocklin said she got burned out working for Sony Music Entertainment.

“I got to the point where I wasn’t excited to get up and go to work every day,” she said. “I thought this would reignite my passion.”

Already on the Mission Management roster is country superstar Marty Stuart, who recently signed a deal with Sony Music Nashville.

Stuart will release a new album in July. Also on the Mission Management roster is Monument Records group Little Big Town who released their debut CD last year and is currently in the studio recording their next project.

Mission Management will work with both acts in a co-management partnership with manager Rendy Lovelady, who boasts over 20 years in the entertainment industry. Lovelady also represents the multi-million-selling band Jars Of Clay who have recently been nominated for a Grammy Award.

Most recently, McGlocklin has served as Director, Product Management in the Sony Music Marketing Department. In her 13 year career with the company McGlocklin has garnered a wide-ranging level of experience in Album Promotion, Event Planning and Sales and helped launch multi-platinum projects by Dixie Chicks, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Billy Gilman.
