The musical Moon Shine! is getting its L.A. premiere through April 27, 2008 at the West Valley Playhouse, 7242 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park.

The musical was written by Mary Willard, wife of comic actor Fred Willard, with music by country star Marty Stuart.

The show follows the Spencer Tracy/Katharine Hepburn-type relationship between two competing advertising agents vying for a dog food account in Texas.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays.

Tickets are $28 for adults, $25 for seniors and students, with group rates available.
