The Fargo Theatre will sound a lot like Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium when Marty Stuart takes the stage October 7. The Grand Ole Opry regular got his start playing mandolin for bluegrass great Lester Flatt then played with Doc Watson and Johnny Cash. In the 1990s, Stuart paired with singer Travis Tritt on the hit duet "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'." Stuart's traditional sound earned the honky tonk troubadour critical raves for his score of the movie All The Pretty Horses, the concept album The Pilgrim and last year's Country Music. |
