Old Time Festival Kicks Off Tonight

With the stroke of his guitar, country music star Marty Stuart will get the Old Time Festival in high gear tonight.

Stuart, Cary Hudson and the Taylor Grocery Band will perform at the Saenger Theatre starting at 7:45 p.m. Diamond Rio and Webb Wilder will rock out on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Other activities will be held Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. in downtown Hattiesburg.

The main festival events are free while the night performances cost $25-$35.

"I'm looking forward to a tall glass of iced tea," said Stuart, known for such hits as "Whiskey Ain't Workin' " and "Tempted."
