Marty Stuart Is Coming To Kingsport's Twilight Alive Concert Series On
July 24

This appeared in the Bristol Herald Courier - July 24, 2008

Only one man has recorded with bluegrass legend Lester Flatt, country legend Johnny Cash, blues legend B.B. King and rock legend Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.

That’s Marty Stuart. The rambling man of music will appear for free during Kingsport’s summer-long series Twilight Alive on July 24.

On the road since age 13, Stuart is something of country music’s Waldo. Look at a picture and find Waldo. Hear a song and listen for Stuart.

He’s backed Andy Griffith on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. Performed on Indian reservations, in honky-tonks and for presidents. He’s a member of the Opry and married to Opry star Connie Smith.

He has hair like a gray-headed rooster, plays guitar like Luther Perkins’ more talented offspring, and sings like a man who means every word. He does, you know.

Hear for yourself.
