Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville is presenting country-music legend Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives this Friday at 8 p.m.
Marty Stuart is country music's renaissance man. He has scored six top-10 hits, one platinum and five gold albums, and four Grammy awards. He also has made lasting music as a front man in collaboration with virtually every major roots-music figure from his era from Lester Flatt to Bob Dylan.
He has evangelized for country music around the world, eulogized the departed legends of the field, and identified and encouraged talents of the future. Stuart's enthusiasm has extended beyond the music, yielding impressive work as a photographer, writer, collector and arts executive.
