Connie Smith and Marty Stuart To Appear at Christmas Tree Lighting

Country Music Stars Connie Smith and Marty Stuart will participate in The 2004 Christmas Pageant of Peace.

To kick off the pageant festivities, Smith and Stuart will attend and perform at The Christmas Pageant of Peace Opening Ceremonies and Gala Event scheduled for December 1 with a special reception beginning at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m. The Christmas Pageant of Peace Gala event will take place at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. Willard Scott will act as Master of Ceremonies dressed as Santa Claus. Stuart and Smith will entertain guests when they debut a song they co-wrote, "Peaceful World."
