Marty Stuart has six shows remaining as he closes production of his first season as an XM Radio host, and the finale — due this summer — will focus on the music of Las Vegas.

Marty Stuart’s American Odyssey debuted in October, with Marty making each installment a celebration of the music and culture of a specific city. He’s focused on such locations as Nashville, Phoenix, Buffalo, Minneapolis and Jersey City and thrown in a few additional episodes with special themes, such as a Porter Wagoner tribute and Christmas and New Year’s specials.

"Creating American Odyssey has been one of the greatest experiences of my life," Marty says. "The research, the writing, the character development, the camaraderie and the music have enlightened and enriched me in ways that are beyond belief."

In addition to Las Vegas, the remaining shows include features on Tulsa, Bakersfield and Portland.
