Marty Stuart was honored last week at the NARAS holiday board for his work on behalf of MusiCares, the philanthropic arm of the Recording Academy. Marty has raised more than $70,000 during the last five years, mainly from the proceeds of his annual "Marty Stuart Late Night Jam," held during CMA Music Fest each June. Since 1989, MusiCares has been helping people in the music business cope with hardships and crises with confidential interventions, health care referrals and financial assistance. |
