Marty Stuart gathered together a herd of honky-tonk all-stars for his Electric Barnyard Tour, a country music festival now rolling through America's heartland featuring Marty and Merle Haggard, BR549, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Connie Smith, and the Old Crow Medicine Show. Described as part tent-show, part honky-ton, the tour avoids large markets in favor of smaller towns and rural areas. "We're going back to remember the forgotten ones," declares Merle. Interactive attractions, such as bungee jumping, mechanical bulls, games and concessions are part of the festival. Ticket prices are $25 to $30. Meanwhile, Marty's new CD, titled simply Country Music, just hit the stores.
