Marty Stuart Too Loud For Ricky Skaggs

This appeared in Country Weekly - November 25, 1997

"I want to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Ricky Skaggs," a laughing Marty Stuart says. "Ricky lived in the apartment right below me and I would come in late at night and play my guitar really loud, I know he left pretty soon after I got there."

Marty showed Country Weekly a letter dated June 30, 1982 from the manager of the Graycroft Manor Apartments in Madison, Tennessee. The letter read: "It has been brought to my attention that you have on occasion played your stereo during the early morning hours. We have no alternative but insist that you not play your stereo after 10 p.m."
