Marty Stuart will once again host his annual Late Night Jam to benefit both MusiCares and CMA's Keep The Music Playing program on June 4 at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.

As one of the kick-off activities for the 2008 CMA Music Festival, Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives (Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson and Paul Martin) will perform and host the unstructured marathon of live music with guest performances this year by Charlie Daniels, Muzik Mafia founder John Rich (Big & Rich), blues and gospel hybrid Mike Farris, bluegrassers The SteelDrivers and Texas newcomer Sunny Sweeney.

"Like the song says 'Let the good times roll,'" said Stuart. "I always leave the stage thinking 'how are we gonna top that?' Somehow the standard gets raised year after year. That's the challenge...One thing that is different this year is my partnership with the CMA, and I'm honored that they made my event one of the official kickoff events."

The Jam has raised more than $150,000 for MusiCares, the philanthropic arm of The Recording Academy. This year, the event will also donate proceeds to the Keep The Music Playing, a partnership between CMA and the Nashville Alliance for Public Education. This program funds music education programs and purchases much needed musical instruments for Nashville's public schools and nearly 75,000 students.

Two days prior (June 2), the Nashville International Airport will unveil selections from Stuart's historic museum exhibit titled Marty Stuart's American Odyssey. Featuring treasured photographs from the late Johnny Cash, Ray Charles and others, the exhibit will welcome visitors to Nashville. The exhibit will continue through the summer.
