Country Music Hall of Fame members Charley Pride and Porter Wagoner will be among the musical guests at Marty Stuart's late night jam during the CMA Music Festival. Also set to perform with Stuart and his band, the Fabulous Superlatives, during the June 6 show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium are Neko Case, Big & Rich's John Rich, Pam Tillis and newcomers Eric Church and Ashley Monroe. Wagoner recently performed at one of Case's concerts in Los Angeles.
Stuart is producing Wagoner's upcoming album, and the two spent Sunday (April 29) shooting a music video for the Johnny Cash composition, "Committed to Park View." The production took place at the Tennessee State Penitentiary, which stopped housing prisoners in 1992. Stuart told CMT.com, "I'd never been to the Tennessee State Prison before -- and hope I never have to go again. But it was a perfectly natural feeling for the song. Porter is a concept king. He gets it. I think it's great that we have an 80-year-old rock star among us."
