Marty Stuart, noted for his proficiency as a singer, guitarist and mandolin player, adds "camera" to his list of creative instruments with the release of his book of photographs, Pilgrims: Sinners, Saints & Prophets, this Friday (October 22).

Stuart has a scheduled a 6 p.m. eastern time book signing session on November 2 at Davis-Kidd Booksellers in the Nashville suburb of Green Hills. The hardcover book, published by Rutledge Hill Press (retail $29.95) contains 25 years' worth of pictures and stories and not only reveals much about Stuart colleagues like Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sheryl Crow, George Jones, Bill Monroe and many others, but includes many memorable fans that have touched Stuart as well.

"The Pilgrim" himself will also be one of only three artists to perform at this year's lighting of the Christmas Tree Ceremony in Washington, D.C. "The National Christmas Pageant of Peace" will feature an hour of entertainment followed by President Clinton flipping the switch for the tree and delivering his holiday greetings.
