Marty Stuart will give a free back-to-school concert next Monday at Little Wound School on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Kyle, South Dakota.

Stuart and his band...The Rock and Roll Cowboys...will share the stage with two local Native American acts and a visiting dance troupe.

It's not Stuart's first visit to Pine Ridge. He's been there often during the past 10 years - most notably in 1997, when he and Connie Smith were married there.

President Clinton focused national attention on Pine Ridge when he made it one of the stops on his recent national tour of poverty-stricken areas in the United States.
