Troubadour - West Hollywood, CA on August 3, 1999

Just had to tell everyone that Marty's show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood was awesome. It was primarily an "industry show" with plenty of invited guests from all areas of the music business. There certainly was a variety of people there, many that you wouldn't expect to see at a Marty Party, but they all seemed to be having a great time. The crowd was probably smaller than usual, but just as loud as a bigger venue!!!

Marty rocked the house and got wild on stage. He seemed to be having a great time, too. He did all his hits and many new tunes from The Pilgrim. He closed the show with "Western Girls" for all of us California gals! (Thanks, Marty!!!) After the show, Marty had a long list of industry people on his guest list to see so, unfortunately, there was no meet and greet for fan club members last night. But, for those of us who hung around awhile, we still got a chance to say a quick hello to him before he boarded the big black Rocket Ship for his next destination.

It's always great to see Marty when he's in town. And last night was just another example of why I believe Marty is one of the best in the business.
