Late Night Jam, Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN on June 9, 2004

LaDonna Cable sent these fabulous pictures from the Late Night Jam and added this about the evening:

The Late Night Jam was okay, not enough Marty! We were packed in those pews like sardines!!! The young bluegrass band was excellent, but the guys who stole the show were Naturally 7. They do all the instruments with their voices and boy could they sing! They did several songs and then Marty came out and said they needed a white boy from Mississippi in their band!! He played mandolin and they sung "Amazing Grace" (out of this world)!!!

Terri Clark performed with just her guitar -- no band. She did a great job! Marty came out and did "Delta Dawn" and another song with her!! Terri talked about her fan club party that morning and, boy, was I hoping Marty was listening!!

Marty then came on for about 40 minutes, sang "Hey Baby," "Burn Me Down," "Kenny Plays the Boogie Woogie," "The Whiskey Ain't Workin'," a beautiful gospel song with Harry singing lead, "Hillbilly Rock," "Dark Bird," "Draggin' the Line." Connie was sitting to the side but he did not bring her out.

Next to end the show was Jerry Lee Lewis. He sang all his hits and Marty stayed onstage and played with the band, Jerry did not know he was up there until the last song!! Marty tried to get him out for an encore but he wouldn't! And the show was over. They were signing upstairs but the line was wrapped down the steps, I did not stay! Boy I miss FAN CLUB PARTIES.
