I'm home...this show was SO awesome!!!!! The opening band, "The Fabulous Gunslingers" (local group), sang for about an hour...then with the equipment changes...Marty, Gregg, Steve & Brad didn't take the stage 'til around 8:30 or so. But the wait was WELL worth it! :-) My seat was right next to the stage, but I did not have my camera :-( (Okay...now stand in line to spank me!) LOL! Marty wore his gray leather pants & shirt...Steve was dressed in black from head to toe...Brad cut his right index finger while carving a pumpkin, so he had his work cut out for him (no pun intended), trying to play guitar with one of those silver metal braces on his finger. Yes, Marty sang "Long Black Veil", after stating that some woman had given him a cake...with a file in it! (HA!) He mentioned Gary, and sang a song he had written during one of his trips home to Mississippi. All I can say is...can 2001 get here fast enough?! I'm ready for more Marty! :-) Review by Jennifer Clark, Des Moines, IA |
